Hi! Just thought I'd kind of explain myself :) On Saturday I was clicking the "view next blog" button (because I am supposed to be studying) and I came across your blog. It's very interesting, and I kept reading more and more. I read a post about you feeling threatened while picking up some dry-cleaning (or something from a mall or shopping centre) by yourself and feeling threatened and I thought "Huh. Here is someone I can understand and kind of relate to, but in a totally different environment!". Also (I hope you don't mind) but you're kind of humanising of Pakistan- it's the first time that the democracy and globalisation of the internet has really truly struck me (most sites I visit are American).
I hope you don't mind me reading! And you don't need to feel at all obliged to read my blog- I tend to write about truly inconsequential things like the weather and even people who know me get bored. But also thanks for your comments!
Anyway, hello! Nice to meet you :) I like your pictures. You might think that you are a poor artist, but you are a thousand times better at drawing than me!
Hey, Erin! I'm so glad you found my blog. :) It's always great to see the impact of globalization indeed. Isn't it odd how someone from a completely different pole of the world can be going through the exact same thing you are? It can be mind-boggling. And that is another reason why I read your blog (not just obligation, trust me, I'm an avid blog-reader), because you, like me, love to talk about the mundane, the seemingly run-of-the-mill. Sometimes you'll see me doing the same thing. :)
I especially appreciate you saying I'm humanising Pakistan. It's probably one of the most gratifying compliments I've gotten for blogging, like ever. :)
Keep reading and keep the feedback coming. And don't worry. There are certain things I don't do out of obligation and blog-reading is one of them.
Well, I was going to say that that drawing looks like a scary eye peeping through some bushes, but now that you say it, I can totally see every "design" of Zardari's moustaches in it.

The child in the sketch might not look like her son, but he is cute anyway. And I like your signature.
And the last one is pretty good as well. Even if it looks like a... well, never mind.
By the way, do you mind if I borrow the "why are you not working?" one and print it out for my reference?
What what? What does it look like? Zardari?
You are most welcome to spread the love. Print it out, post it on the walls and if you're a fellow Worldcall victim, I'd even pay you to do it all.

Not so bad, in fact the child looks if not entirely him ... a brother of his definitely :)
And the last pic, is it really zardari? =P
what is the medium used in the sketching? Looks like crayons to me?

Asma..
Oh my God!! You are too right!! The vague swoopy lines DO look like his MOONCHAS!
Atif..
Yeah, they are charcoal crayons.

Damn him. He is getting on our nerves.
Haha, as my friend's mom aptly puts it:
"Why does he have to come in every conversation these days?"
LOL @ the Zardari Comments!!
And the drawings are not bad at all!
Art takes time and patience, and with that you've produced nice pieces of work! :D
My favourite is the, "Why are you not working" one!
