Processing.

I am currently trying to set up here. Blogspot has given me enough hell for the time being. Look at my blog right now. The header's looming out from behind like an ugly monster. I like the orchids but I don't like the blatant and in-your-face size of it.

Nothing's official as yet, but as they say, third time's the charm and I've already tried migrating twice on wordpress.

I need feedback. Is moving to wordpress a good idea?

Ah.

I am a die-hard WordPress fan, but to be honest, WordPress.com is inferior to the regular WordPress (that totally rocks and kicks Blogger's butt, but needs you to have a web host).

Here's a good comparison between Blogger and WordPress.com that you might find useful.

Okay, the link you posted, Saadat, is ne mere saaray plans pe paani pher diya hai. Now I think Blogspot is better! Which I didn't since I'm not a computer expert and had to doggedly work at numerous templates before getting one half-right (still not too sure about that though).

I suppose I'll just stick with this one and get back the energy someday, some other day definitely, to recharge my template and reconfigure all those widgets. *groan*

So, Mampi, looks like I'm staying. Yet.

Now I am feeling like I've scored a goal against my own team.

WordPress.com, though inferior to the full-fledged, self-hosted WordPress, is still better than Blogger provided that it allows custom themes and user scripts (for third-party stats etc.). And since it doesn't allow either, many users find it inconvenient, which ultimately shadows other, much better features of WordPress.com.

But anyway, good luck with the templates. I would've been glad to help, but I have absolutely no idea about the working of a Blogger theme.

Stick with blogspot majaz..its better than regular wordpress like Saadat has said..atleast it allows you to do loads of customizations & stuff..rest is all upto you.

I'm probably going to, Illusion. I don't think I have the patience to migrate to Wordpress anymore.

Illusion, actually buddy, by regular WordPress I meant the self-hosted version, which is far better than Blogger/Blogspot.

@ Saadat: I meant the opposite of it..I was talking about the free version of wordpress(I)

Er, self-hosted WordPress is free as well. And open source. The cost factor is because of domain and web space.
