Pakistan Zindabad.

Numbers have suddenly begun to make sense.

The Gross Domestic Product of Pakistan - composition by sector - is thus:

agriculture: 19.4%
industry: 27.2%
services: 53.4% (2006 est.)

The Labor Force by occupation however...

agriculture: 42%
industry: 20%
services: 38% (2004 est.)

Not surprisingly enough. The percentage of population below poverty line is 24% (FY05/06 est.).

And the public debt of Pakistan is 71.4% of the GDP (2004 figures).

The military expenditures are 3.2% (2006; 3% 2007 est.).

Conclude what you will.
